72: What is the sixth commandment?  #

The sixth commandment is, You shall not kill. 

(Ex. 20:13)

73: What is required in the sixth commandment?  #

The sixth commandment requires all lawful endeavours to preserve our own life and the life of others.

(Eph. 5:28,29; 1 Kings 18:4)

74: What is forbidden in the sixth commandment?  #

The sixth commandment absolutely forbids the taking away of our own life, or the life of our neighbour unjustly, or whatsoever tends thereunto.
